Math 107 and 108 Algebra 1 (two semesters)
This is a course for students ready for a mathematical challenge. This course will cover: fractions, decimals, percents, ratio-proportion, as well as rules for exponents, solving equations, mathematical properties of real numbers, real number operations, graphic linear equations, problem solving, factoring, Pythagorean theorem, roots, functions, advanced graphing, quadratic formula, linear and quadratic inequalities.

Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation
Credit: .5 each semester
