105 and 106: Concepts in Algebra 1 (two semesters)
A basic course in high school algebra for the student who
finds math challenging. This course will cover:
fractions, decimals, percents, ratio-proportion, as well
as rules for exponents, solving equations,
mathematical properties of real numbers, real number operations,
graphic linear equations, problem solving, factoring, Pythagorean
theorem, roots and functions.
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation
Credit: .5 each semester
