Essay Topic

Compare Black Elk’s vision/autobiography with Sherman Alexie’s short stories. What comments about society and culture are seen through each perspective? You should include a thesis statement, relevant quotes, and insight into the essay topic. Rough drafts are due on Wednesday. Rough drafts should be typed and you should be prepared to share. Final drafts will be due on Friday. All drafts should be typed, double-spaced, at least 3-4 pages in length. Please remember to include author and page numbers for each quote.
