“Civil Disobedience”
Project
Using Thoreau’s concept of “Civil Disobedience” we will be
examining people and events in history that have also used peaceful protest to
make a stand against political and/or social issues.
I would like everyone to choose a different person related
to a particular issue. Some examples:
- Underground
Railroad
- Harriet
Tubman

Suffrage
- Elizabeth
Cady Stanton

will need a large piece of poster board!):
- At
least four quotes that illustrate the perspective of the person or the
group of people you have chosen.

pictures of the person or the group of people and events.

the person or group of people you have chosen. You should include quotes
