Character Profile

 

Answer the following questions quickly. Often your first thought will be the best. Don’t try to describe a person you already have in mind. The purpose is to discover a new personality.

  1. How old is your character?

 

  1. What is the color of hair?

 

Eyes?                             Skin?

 

 

  1. Describe your character’s physical appearance and body type.

 

 

 

 

  1. Describe the character’s voice and any favorite words or expressions.

 

 

 

  1. How is the character dressed? What style clothing would he/she usually wear?

 

 

 

 

  1. Mention any special characteristics, quirks, or physical traits that would make the character memorable.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. How intelligent is this character? Mention whether or not the character has common sense, special talents or abilities.

 

 

 

 

  1. What is the character’s general attitude toward life? (Happy, Carefree? Worried? Rebellious?)

 

 

 

 

  1. What sort of family does your character come from?

 

 

 

  1. Name and briefly describe friends and acquaintances of your character.

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Where was the character born?

 

 

 

 

  1. Where does the character live?

 

 

 

  1. Describe the character’s neighborhood and house.

 

 

 

 

  1. What is the time period of the story? (If the story does not take place in the present, be specific about which historical era or time in the future is involved.)
