Creative Writing is designed for all students who
wish to explore, experiment with, and expand their creative side.
We will be working on writing short stories, poetry, and plays.
This course will be based on each participant's willingness to try
a variety of writing techniques. It is essential that everyone share
his/her ideas and writing. The participants of this class will be
asked to conference with peers, revise his/her work, and maintain
a portfolio.
Each day the students begin class with a warm- up activity. The activities are designed to spark the students creative thought. The students will generally write for approximately ten minutes and then we spend time sharing. Below you will find a description of the activities. |
