Reading to End Racism

We cannot thank Mr. Roman Kokodyniak enough for visiting our classroom and sharing both his personal story and a heartfelt reading of My Name Is Sangoel. He kept students engaged from beginning to end and modeled empathy in a way that truly resonated with them.
Our students especially loved the opportunity to talk about their own names and their origins, which made the experience deeply meaningful and personal. He thoughtfully tied his visit to our lessons on ancestors and traditions.
This was one of the most genuine and impactful guest visits we have experienced.
