Donation Request for Our New Indoor Gardening Program
Dear Twinfield Families,
My name is Aysha Tuthill, and I am an employee at Twinfield Union School. I am excited to share that our school is working to establish a new Indoor Gardening Program, and we are reaching out to our wonderful community for support in helping bring this project to life.
Our goal is to create an engaging, hands-on learning environment where students can discover the importance of growing their own food, healthy eating, sustainability, and caring for the environment. Through indoor gardening, students will have the opportunity to plant seeds, nurture vegetables and herbs, and experience firsthand the rewarding process of growing food from start to finish.
As someone who works directly within our school community, I see the importance of providing students with meaningful learning opportunities that extend beyond the traditional classroom. I believe this program will not only teach valuable life skills but also encourage responsibility, teamwork, curiosity, and a greater appreciation for where our food comes from.
We are kindly seeking donations of gardening supplies, including:
Indoor grow lights and shelving units
Seeds, seedlings, and herb plants
Potting soil, containers, and planting trays
Watering cans and gardening tools
Indoor growing systems and hydroponic equipment
Gift cards, monetary donations, or other gardening materials
No donation is too small, and every contribution will help us build a program that benefits our students for years to come.
We understand how much our local businesses and community members already do for our school, and we are incredibly grateful for your continued generosity. Your support would help us turn an idea into a lasting educational experience that students can take pride in.
Thank you for considering a donation to Twinfield Union School’s Indoor Gardening Program. Together, we can plant the seeds of knowledge, responsibility, and healthy living while helping our students grow in more ways than one.
With sincere appreciation,
Aysha Tuthill
