Renaissance Mentor Spotlight 

Mentors are the ♥️ of the Renaissance program. They provide their time, expertise and knowledge, and have a lasting impact on the students they work with. 

 Carrie Becker 

Brain Development

My mentor is Carrie Becker; she is the founder of Transforming Early Childhood Education. Carrie took a job at a local childcare while attending community college where she was studying fashion merchandising. She enjoyed spending her days with children, so she switched her major to early childhood education because she loved getting to see faces light up everyday. Carrie has mentored other kids as well as parents of young children. She was so excited to get to mentor a high school student that wants to learn about the brain. Carrie is a wonderful mentor, and I enjoy getting to work with her.
